Oxyum is made by a small team who spent years maintaining sites built in other people’s tools, and eventually decided to fix the part that kept hurting.
How it started
A builder built by the people who maintain the sites
The tools that made WordPress fast to build with also made it slow to run and miserable to maintain. Wrappers nested five deep to produce a two-column row. Styles pinned to individual elements so a colour change meant opening forty pages. Markup nobody would have written by hand and nobody wanted to inherit.
We built the opposite, and the constraint was simple: if we would not write it by hand, it does not ship. That gave us a properties panel that maps to real CSS, classes that behave like classes, and output you can read without wincing.
Agent Mode came out of the same instinct. Letting a model generate a page is easy and mostly useless — you get one impressive screen that falls apart on the second. Giving it real post types, templates, components and tokens to work with is harder, and it produces something that still makes sense in six months. That is the part we spent the last year on.
